In order for KPF pumps to run as efficiently as possible the following rules have been discussed, agreed upon and will take effect immediately!

First and foremost, the pump leader will not, for any reason, except for those unavoidable, leave the pump conference.  The pump leader will make all decisions and the outcome of the pump will reflect directly on that member.  If someone is causing problems or hindering the pump it is up to the leader to replace that person.

Second, all pump conferences WILL start 10-15 minutes BEFORE the scheduled pump time.  If you have signed up for a pump and you are not in the conference by that time you WILL be replaced.  Therefor, make sure you have a FUNCTIONING version of yahoo BEFORE you sign up for any pumps!!!  If you have questions on which versions will function in a conference please contact a member of our staff to find out!

Third, you must have a functioning and reliable caddy in order to pump with KPF.  If you do not, see our macros board to get one BEFORE you sign up for a pump.  Make sure you know how to use your caddy!  If you have questions, again, ask our staff!

If you have met all of the requirements and you wish to pump you MUST sign up on the thread.  Unless a backup is needed no one who has not signed up will be allowed into the pump.  No exceptions!

A few extra notes that need to be mentioned.  Anyone who signs up for any KPF pump over 100 MUST have been involved in AT LEAST 3 pumps under 100 before they will be allowed to do so.  Depending on the outcome of those pumps you may or may not be allowed to sign up for a larger pump. This is NONNEGOTIABLE!  The minimum time that you are required to stay on the table AFTER the spread is complete is 1 hour.  If you can't commit enough time please do not sign up.

Also, please remember that when you are in a KPF pump you are required to use a  KPF nic and that means you are representing our forum and we expect you to conduct yourself in a way that will portray the forum positively.  This means no rude or crude behavior or language on the poker tables.

FOR PUMP LEADERS:
The pump leader will be held accountable for their pump so for those of you who enjoy leading pumps, make sure you are willing to uphold these rules!  If you can't kick someone out of a pump who is not following the rules, do not ask to lead a pump.  If you do lead a pump and you do not uphold these rules you will not be allowed to lead another.
Also, if a n00b gets the spread the leader will be expected to teach them how to spread, not pass the chips to someone else.  Everyone needs to learn and nowhere better to learn than a friendly forum pump.
It is the duty of the pump leader to announce the last hand both in conference and on the PP table!  Please don't forget to announce it!

AS of Now all rules are in place in full force...
No one will Leave conference until the play is over..
If they do ..Pump will CEASE regardless of STAGE..
It is Table Leaders responsibility to get members back in conference.
ONLY Table Leader will have the rights to guide a members spread (without prejudice).
If a Team Leader Falls from Table/Conference the next most experienced pumper will become leader, until his/her returns.
Any Disputes will be sorted by Team Leader & or Pump moderator,(if available)
The Pump Moderator will supervise Entire PUMP & PLAY.
If ADMIN are available and there is still disputes ADMIN will over ride all actions and His/Her decision is FINAL.

AMENDMENT
As of 25th January 2009 All Admin, Staff and Fellow members
Please note that  **  In order for any Person to enter a Pump/Tournament Event  **
They must do a Reply post to the sign up sheet for all scheduled events - The sign up acceptance will go in order of the replied posts. This Being from the 1st posted reply to the Reserves & In that order.

NO SIGN UP ~ NO PUMP ~ ( With the exception of EMERGENCIES, as Stated ABOVE )
Please direct all complaints to KPF Admin. We cannot attempt to fix a problem if we do not know there is one!!  Don't complain to people who can't help you, complain to us directly!

These rules are being put in place to help aid in the KPF pump process and make it a well oiled machine for all of us to enjoy.

Thank you in advance for following them!

Well done Lisa, I agree.
But 1 request to this please. Could we maybe set the times for the pumps (At least some of the Pumps) to a for us acceptable time. Since there are Members that live in Germany. Most Pumps start at 12 or 1 AM UK time, thats about 1 or 2 AM our time. And by time the pumps will be done it will be like 3 or 4 AM. So my request is to make the Pumpschedule a little more comfortable for all of us please. Other than that I do agree to fallow all rules.

Hi Cattani!  hugs haha  That is something you could get together with the pump mods on.  I know we have members all over the world so it's hard to appease everyone but I think we should be able to work something out.  Perhaps you would be willing to organize and lead some pumps?

Sure Lisa, thanks for your trust in me. I will see what i will come up with. I understand we got the whole world in here, and it is hard to organize for the best of everyone. You are right, we (the staff) will have to talk and find a way.  /z41.gif

Thanks for now  /f57.gif

Thank you lisa for outlining and refining the pump rules and conditions.... hugs /z83.gif

Secondly the pump times can be adjusted accordingly...We have 3 pump Moderators .The reason i have had the pumps at the allocated times were to cater for the USA residents ....and the Aussies...

Im sure Morgan or Nicole can run Pumps at Times that are out of my Boundries

Not all times will suit all players ....this is almost a Impossability..

All i can suggest is that Morgan..Nicole or Myself set up a scheduled event to take place to cater for Germany and have Cattani become Team Leader for this pump..

We are here as a team and expect all events to be conducted as such..

As i have stated before ....The running of the pumps are a Logistical nightmare , but we try to cater for all Interested Members.

Any Additional input would be appreciated.

Regards PETE.

np Blazingstarr (assuming you are Jan?)  We all know it happens sometimes, we just have to try to iron these things out so our pumps are more effective and enjoyable.

Glad you like the forum, that's what I like to hear!

Another note that might be useful to include is to pay attention to the pumps and make sure to be back in time for spread - atleast leave your volume on max for ppl to buzz u.  In addition, NO SLEEPING .  From my experience with pumps...it seems that these are the biggest and foremost problems occurring aside from ppl running off with the pump  mad

I can't say we have much trouble with that in our forum pumps.
